As a global purchaser and supplier of goods and services, 足球价值投注 has an important role to play in the protection and respect for human rights including the responsible sourcing of minerals worldwide.
We take this role seriously throughout our supply chain including ensuring that the minerals used in our products, such as tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold (鈥3TG,鈥 or more broadly, 鈥淐onflict Minerals鈥) mined from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and surrounding areas meet the relevant U.S., E.U. and U.K. legal compliance mandates on use and sourcing.
Furthermore, we strive to ensure that our compliance program also conforms to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (OECD Guidance).[1] Consistency with the OECD Guidance furthers our ability to engage in responsible business practices in a manner that supports our core values. This includes 足球价值投注鈥檚 monitoring of potential developments in high-risk areas outside the DRC as well as the potential for inclusion of additional minerals, materials and products sourced globally so as not to support conflict or related human rights abuses in any fashion.
足球价值投注鈥檚 long-established Conflict Minerals compliance program requires and maintains appropriate procedures to evaluate and select suppliers consistent with our Core Values, Human Rights Policy,[2] and Policy, Code of Conduct.[3] 足球价值投注 builds upon this framework as a member of the Responsible Mineral Initiative (鈥淩MI鈥),[4] one of the most utilized and respected resources for companies addressing responsible mineral sourcing in their supply chains. 足球价值投注 encourages its suppliers to procure, directly or indirectly, from smelters and refiners certified through RMI鈥檚 Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (鈥淩MAP鈥).
足球价值投注鈥檚 compliance program also includes:
Last, 足球价值投注 will continue to monitor developments in potential global regulatory requirements for emerging conflict minerals, such as mica or cobalt, and work with our industry peers to support continued responsible mineral sourcing.
