Since its invention in 1941, Styrofoam鈩 Brand extruded polystyrene (XPS) has built a rich, storied heritage as an innovative, sustainable building product 鈥 creating an entire insulation material category. The transition was completed at the end of 2023. All sites in North America manufacturing Styrofoam鈩 Brand XPS Insulation now produce a low-GWP formulation signified by a new grey color.
